AIM 65 – Advantech’s rugged 8 inch Industrial Tablet
Advantech’s AIM series is a rugged Industrial Tablet specially developed for demanding applications. It is available with an 8- or 10-inch display and is equipped with an Intel®Atom™ processor with support for both Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Android 6.0 in the same device.
They have built-in Wi-Fi, NFC, 3G/4G LTE and Bluetooth that open up the possibility of data transfers and real-time communication at high speed towards a central server. Their lightweight, fanless design provides maximum mobility and allows for smooth and easy use.
The AIM series is also equipped with a standard interface to integrate a wide range of accessory modules. This makes it possible to tailor and expand the functionality of the devices to support a large number of applications, even with future technologies.
Current accessory modules that have been produced are (the modules fit both AIM-68 and AIM-65):
- 2D barcode scanner (20° angle)
- 2D barcode scanner (70° angle)
- UHF RFID reader
- Combined serial port and RJ45
- Possibility of customer-specific specially developed modules
To be able to use the device mounted in mobile applications, for example in vehicles, there is also an adapted range of different docking stations.
